At the Stadium pets can do three things: race hurdles, practice hurdles, and bet on a hurdles race. There are a total of 10 hurdle races held per day for your pet to compete in. Each hurdle race consists of 3 racers and if your pet wins you’re awarded 30 yellow coins and 20 paw points. Placing in 2nd gives you no monetary award but you do get 10 paw points, for 3rd place you will receive 5 paw points. Practicing hurdles is just that, practice, you’re not awarded coins for finishing in 1st at practice but you are awarded paw points. Just like a normal race you’ll receive 20 paw points for 1st, 10 paw points for 2nd and 5 paw points for 3rd. Betting involves 3 pets in your neighborhood; you first set a wager on how much you would like to bet. The minimum bet is 5 yellow coins and the maximum bet is 500 yellow coins. Next, pick the pet among the 3 who you think will win the race and if the pet you pick wins, you win double your bet. So if you bet 5 yellow coins you’ll receive 10 yellow coins, if you bet 500 yellow coins you’ll receive 1000 yellow coins! Unlike the regular race which is limited to 10 races per day, there is no limit to the amount of times you can practice or bet. Also note that in race and practice mode you can select whom you want to race by scrolling the racers, in bet mode you’re not allowed to do this. However you can change the racers in bet mode by closing the menu and opening it again to reveal newly randomly selected racers. You can do this until you’re satisfied with your participants.

Clicking on Race you’ll be shown a window of whom you’ll be racing against. Click on the blue scroll bars to select a different opponent if you think you’ll have a better chance with another opponent.
