Pond
The Pond is a place where players can have their pet’s fish using any type of food for bait. The type of food you use determines what type of fish or sometimes junk you will catch. To fish in the pond you must have any type of food stored in your chest. Upon entering the Pond the food you currently have in your chest will be displayed. Simply click on the food you want to use as bait then click on your pet to cast your bait. You’ll know when you get a bite when you see a splash of water, this is when you click and hold your pet to reel it in. When the fish is struggling you’ll notice splashing of water, this is when you let go and wait for the fish to calm down. If you don’t let go and continue to hold down on your pet your fish will swim away and you will also lose your bait. Once you notice the fish has calmed down and isn’t struggling this is when you click and hold down on your pet to reel in the fish again. You’ll have to do this a couple of times until you reel the fish onto the dock. Once you catch the fish it will be stored in your chest, you can have your friends view the fish you’ve caught by placing them in an aquarium which you can purchase at the Garden Shop. Another option is to recycle the fish to gain recycle points. Also note that for every fish you catch, you earn +10 Paw Points.

Unfortunately sometimes you do catch junk but on the brightside you can also recycle junk for recycle points.

So head over to the Pond and start fishing to see the numerous varieties of fish you can catch! There are even rare fishes that exist but these rare fish usually require higher priced food items but then again it’s never a guarantee that you will catch it. Here’s an example of a rare fish that can be caught using the 2000 coin priced Birthday Cake as bait! Yikes is it really worth the risk? Happy Fishing!
