As part of the new roll out of weekly items Pet Society has released a bunch of Australian and Scottish inspired items! These items were released to help celebrate Australia Day which is celebrated on January 26th and Robert Burns Day which is celebrated on January 25th. Pet Society really helps us learn more about other cultures which is a great, ignorant me wasn’t even aware of these holidays.  So head over... 

If you read our earlier post “Vote now for which Yellow Shirt Pet Society should make for Tristan” you’re well aware that Pet Society will be creating a special yellow top item for fellow player Tristan (Thanks to his persistent requests for one) based on the polling outcome.  However I think the poll was just a teaser and instead Pet Society will release all 6 items yellow top clothing items next week... 

There are 4 new mystery items that were just released at the Mystery Store. The 4 new mystery items are the Yellow Hoodie (Red Mystery Box), Sunscreen Decor (Blue Mystery Box), Aboriginal Teddy (Gold Mystery Box), Dame’s Sunnies (Gold Mystery Box). Head over to the Mystery Store to try your chance at getting these items. Usually the new mystery items give you an idea of what the theme will be for the new items... 

Just like last week, Pet society will again be removing 3 more items this week from the Mystery Boxes. These items aren’t junk items but instead a 333 item from the Blue Mystery Box and 2×999 items from the Gold Mystery Boxes.  The bright side is they probably won’t be removed until the new mystery items are released which will probably be on Friday, which gives you some time to get them.   Good... 

Pet Society is bringing it back to the 70’s with the new release of an array of groovy items. Quite an interesting theme if you ask me, were any of you guys even around during this era? So if you ever wanted to create that Austin Powers themed room, now is your chance. Remember that items marked This Weeks’s Special (TWS) will only be available in store Monday January 25th, 2010. This has probably been one of the most asked questions in Pet Society.  How do we get rid of the gifts given by the Christmas Advent Calendars?  If you don’t know what the Advent Calendar gifts are, they were 24 different gift ornaments given during Christmas last year.  Every day a different gift was given leading up to Christmas. The ornaments were great, but the problem was we couldn’t sell, recycle...

So a fellow Pet Society player named Tristan started a thread on the Pet Society Forums to have Pet Society create a yellow polo tee shirt for his pet.  Since there are no yellow polo tee shirts for male pets he’s been persistent in having Pet Society create one.  He’s even cross-dressed his pet just to have him wear something yellow out of disappointment.
