For those interested in making a donation to Haiti you can now visit the Playfish Haiti Donation Page to make a donation. If you didn’t know by now a 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck near Haiti’s capital of Port-au-Prince on January 12th, 2010. This devastating event has caused catastrophic destruction leaving many people homeless without basic amenities such as food and water. If you would like to donate simply visit Playfish’s Haiti Donation Page with help via the Mercy Corps Organization:

You can then click on the maroon “Donate now >” button which will bring you to the donation page where you can donate via MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover.
On a sidenote, Playfish will give every player of Playfish games a special item if $100,000 in donations are made over the next two weeks. As of this post the total raised so far is around $15,000. Free gift or not, Haiti desperately needs our help. Help Haiti and donate now.
