There are a couple of new improvements that Pet Society has made for players. Pet Society has “now made it easier to earn coins in Pet Society” with the implementation of a couple things.
- We can now earn more points by taking care of our pets. We now receive +4 coins for brushing or bathing our pets and friends pets. I used to brush and bathe my pet and friends pets to earn coins in the beginning but I found that by adding more friends, you earn more coins faster by visits rather than brushing or bathing pets. This is still a great way to earn coins if you have a limited amount of friends but I wish they increased the amount of coins we get for visits as well.
- We can now sell cooked food for double the profit which may or may not persuade players to cook more. I think the main reason players cook is to someday get that Cheesy Mayor and not for profit. The dishes with huge profits usually take 8-24 hours to cook anyway so this doesn’t exactly make me jump out of my seat. Now if they lessened the cooking time for each dish to say 1-5 minutes then that’s what I call making easier to earn coins.
- Trees are also reportedly been made to produce more fruit. Now I never was a fan of harvesting fruit from trees since the time it takes for a tree to produce one single fruit varies from days to eternity. So when they say fruits will grow more often I’m not exactly thrilled about this either since it doesn’t exactly give a timeframe. Now if they state that one fruit will grow every 15-30 minutes, then I’ll plant 18 trees right away but for now I’m sticking to planting vegetables.

i agree with you, i prefer to get more coins by visiting than by bathing and or brushing pets. i think it takes time .. haha ..

@Turqouise, believe it or not I have about 4800 friends and spending 2 hours a day visiting the active ones makes a lot more money than brushing and bathing 100 friends.
I suggest adding more friends if you want to make more money, you can also create a limited profile so they can’t see your personal info if you are wary of adding strangers.

I only have about 85 active friends but I really like the new update! I always wash my friend’s pets if there are flies around. The REAL trick about making a lot of money is with the brushing. My secret? DON’T use a brush! If you give the pet some rubs with your ‘bare hand’ instead of using your leveled up brush, it will take longer to refill and you’ll get at least TWICE the amount of money (and Paw Points) that the brush would have gotten you.

Cooking for earning coins with dishes that take 8-12-24 hours to get ready is great for me, because then I’m getting money even when I’m sleeping, traveling or at work; and also, I’m not worried about burning the food.
For people with few friends, it’s great to have 10 coins for bathing and brushing other pets.
