Thanks to our readers Yen and May Ng for pointing this out to me that the Festive Lamp-Posts are not glowing when the lights are turned off in the room your Festive Lamp-Posts are in.  I actually wondered about this the first time I bought the Festive Lamp-Post for my room, I bought it thinking it would glow but when I remember first installing it and switching off the lights, all the other Christmas items glowed except the Festive Lamp-Posts.  I figured it wasn’t meant to glow in the first place.  Crazy me, that’s when I noticed the comments from Yen and May Ng and looked back at my Holiday Items post and saw that in the Gadget Store it’s actually advertised “GLOW IN THE DARK”.  I immediately check the official Pet Society forums and did a search on “Festive Lamp-Post” where one post was made concerning this.  Fortunately a moderator announced that:

“This glitch has already been reported back to Playfish, it should be fixed soon.”

Hopefully they can turn on those lamp posts soon because our rooms would look so much more festive with the lamps being able to illuminate!
