If you haven’t noticed by now it’s a winter wonderland in Pet Society. The mayor has announced that the Holiday Season has finally arrived in Pet Society and that there’s also a brand new Pet Society lottery! If you walk around town you’ll notice snow covering the grass and trees, snowmen scattered everywhere and snow falling from the sky. Paborito took a gingerly walk around town with his mud face mask on which surprisingly didn’t freeze over his face. While enjoying his walk he was trying to bump the trees to check, just like in Halloween, if Christmas treats would pop out of them. But unfortunately that wasn’t the case. However he did get his daily free small gift courtesy of the Advent Calendar which was a Chocolate Cane Ornament which made him very happy. Now he just has to patiently wait for the Christmas tree to be released so he can start decorating. We hear some rumors that it might be released Monday along with other new Christmas items.

Pet Society has also changed their graphical user interface with more fancy buttons and an aqua colored theme. On the left portion there seems to be more links to other Playfish/EA games and also a menu that has options to invite friends to play Pet Society, become a fan of the Pet Society Fan Page and subscribe to the Pet Society Newsletter. The menu is also collapsible as you can hide and show the menu by clicking the menu button. On the top portion of the GUI are links to more games, the Pet Society forum, and Pet Society support and company information. Quite a sleek and cool new design, I only hope this new interface doesn’t require more bandwidth and makes the game load faster.

Hello,
The only not so good thing about the trees is that I was expecting them to give some treats, like in Halloween XDD
Do you know what we’re supposed to do with the new decoration items we get from the calendars? I can only put them on the floor, am not really happy with that, because I wanted to use them to decorate my cake room.
I didn’t know where to post this, I hope it’s not inconvenient!

There will be a Christmas Tree for sale in Pet Society that we can use to hang our ornaments. I hear it might be available Monday?
